Account deactivation
How to deactivate your account
When you deactivate your account, any current bookings you have as a provider or a customer will be deemed automatically cancelled by you, and the relevant cancellation policy will apply. If, in the future, you want to reopen a deactivated account, you’ll need to contact us.
Account deletion
Deleting your account will result in the permanent closure of your Car Valet Hero account which can’t be reversed. Once your account deletion request has been processed, your personal information will be permanently deleted (except for certain information that we may retain, as outlined in our Privacy Policy. This means that we’ll no longer be able to provide our services to you and if you decide to use Car Valet Hero again in the future, you’ll need to set up a new account.
How to delete your account
You can delete your account by contacting us by email at support@carvalethero.ie and expressing your will to close your account.

Obtaining a copy of the account data Car Valet Hero holds about you
To obtain a copy of your personal data, you can submit a request to support@carvalethero.ie. This process involves initiating a request, a security check to ensure we’re not handing over your data to another person, and then sending you the data file.
Exercising your right to opt-out from receiving marketing emails, notifications, text messages, or calls
You can change your marketing preferences at any time by either clicking the “unsubscribe” link at the bottom of any marketing email.
If you are still receiving emails from Car Valet Hero after opting out
We will continue to use the contact details you provided in order to send you notifications related to a service you have requested (ex: booking confirmation emails, transactional emails). If you do not want to receive any notifications from Car Valet Hero (including service messages), you’ll need to deactivate or delete your Car Valet Hero account.
Opting out of Car Valet Hero usage of personal data for direct marketing purposes
If permitted under the laws of the jurisdiction where you reside, you can opt out of such direct marketing activities as outlined in our Privacy Policy by sending us an email. For opting out of marketing communications, see above.

We do not sell personal information to third parties. However, we may share personal information, such as your location, listings you’ve clicked on or viewed, or your device information with certain third parties to perform targeted advertising or data analytics.
Note that if you are not logged in to your account, opting out of sharing may only affect the device or browser you are using.

How to correct information Car Valet Hero has about you
You have the right to ensure certain personal data is accurate and up-to-date. You can edit profile information within the personal information tab of your account. To request the correction or amendment of other personal data, contact us. Note that some personal data may not be eligible for correction, for example, changes to reviews are governed by our review policy.
